The Korean Language Education Institute at National Korea Maritime & Ocean University is pleased to offer the 2026 Korean Language Institute Special Program (K-SAIL) for international learners. Applicants with an interest in the Korean language and culture will be selected based on recommendations from the Korean Education Center in Houston.

Program Overview

• Program Duration:
  Choice of a 10-week or 20-week program

• Program Content:
  Korean language courses and Korean cultural experience activities

• Benefits:

  • Full tuition coverage

  • Full dormitory fee coverage

• Selection:

  • Up to 15 participants, selected on a first-come, first-served basis

  • Maximum of 3 recommended participants per institution

• Submission Method:
  Application documents and recommendation letters must be submitted by email
