The TOPIK, Test of Proficiency in Korean, is a written test
designed to measure the ability of non-native speakers for expression and
comprehension in the Korean language.

3. Eligibility: Non-Koreans and overseas Koreans
whose native language is not Korean.
4. Application Details
1) Application date & deadline: January
18th (Fri) – January 29th (Tue), 2019
2) Submission: each test
location (by email or in person, see the list at #7)
3) Application Fee: $20 (Cash, check
or payment order, inquire to local test location manager)
*Fee will not be refunded
unless requested by the end of application deadline.
4) How to apply: send your
application by e-mail or in person to one of the following test location (see
the list at #7)
5) Submit the following items to the
schools:

Application form attached with two recent photos (3cm x 4cm or
1.18 inch x 1.57 inch) *Applications without photograph will NOT
be accepted.

Scanned photos to be submitted online (jpg, 200kb, 354x472
pixel)
6) Announcement of Test Results: May
30, 2019 (Thurs) (you can print it at www.topik.go.kr)
5. Guideline for TOPIK
1) Bring a valid photo ID that has
name and date of birth (ex- Passport or Driver¡¯s license)
*It is not possible to take the test without a valid photo ID. (Certificate or a photocopy of your valid
photo ID will not be accepted)

Be sure to arrive at the test center at least 30 minutes prior to the start of
the test and confirm the testing room location according to the examinee number
that you received.

3) Restricted Items: Cell phone,
Digital Camera, MP3, Electronic Dictionary, Calculator, Radio and any
electronic devices
* If
you bring your cell phone, please turn it off and give it to a proctor before
the first period.
* If
you don¡¯t give your cell phone to a proctor OR your cell phone rings, you
cannot take the test.
* It¡¯s
not allowed to use any electronic devices during the testing period.
4) Result of Cheating
* Those found guilty of cheating are not allowed to take the exam for 2 years
later the announcement of test results.

answer sheet (OMR card).

Make sure not to damage or crumple the answer sheet.

Please use only distributed pen for filling out the answer sheet.
*
For multiple choice questions, use a broad side of the pen.
*
For essay / short answer questions, use a fine side of the pen.
*
For revision, correction tape will be provided.
6) The term of validity for the 63rdTOPIK result is two years from the announcement of test result.
