                                                                        Korean international undergraduate/graduate students

      - Arts Scholarships (Approx. 2): Music and Fine Arts.

      - Special Scholarships (Approx. 6): Students with disabilities and adoptee students.

  

  * Note: "Korean-American" refers to U.S. citizens or green card holders (including those with at least one Korean parent).

             "Korean International Students" refers to those with visas allowing degree completion, such as F1, A, or G visas. 

2. Scholarship Amounts

• - Best Honor Scholarship: $5,000 (Approx. 2 students)

• - Honor Scholarship: $3,000 (Approx. 4 students)

• - General Scholarship: $1,500 per person (Approx. 63 students)

3. Eligibility

• - Status: Korean or Korean-American students currently enrolled full-time in a 4-year university or graduate school in the U.S. as of the application date.

• - Academic Record: Must be able to submit transcripts for the most recent year (Fall 2025 and Spring 2026).

  • Prospective graduate students may apply (must include proof of admission).

  • In special circumstances, Spring 2025 grades may be submitted (explanatory documents required).

• - GPA: Minimum 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale for the most recent year.

  •  No GPA limit for students with Pass/Fail or other grading systems.

• - Restriction: Applicants must not have previously received the KHS scholarship at their current level of study 

•  (Eligible once during undergraduate and once during graduate studies. Integrated Master/PhD programs are limited to one award).

4. Required Documents

• - Letter of Recommendation (From a professor at the current school)

  • * If submitted via email: Must be sent directly by the recommender.

  • I f submitted by mail: Must be in a sealed envelope (use of university letterhead with seal is recommended).

• - Self-Introduction Essay, Resume, etc. (Refer to the attached selection details).

• * Note: Submit 1 original and 3 copies (4 sets total) for screening. Mark the original clearly.

• - Applications must arrive by 5:00 PM on the deadline.
