On March 6, 2025, Garland HS invited Professor Chang-hee Jeon from UT Arlington 

to the DFW Junior World Affairs Council event to give a special lecture on the topic of "Hallyu." 

This lecture was a meaningful time to increase the understanding of Korean culture and inform 

the global influence of the Korean Wave to middle and high school students in the DFW area.
