Daeyoung High School Students
Visit Taylor High School in Texas
Ten students and two chaperone teachers from Daeyoung High School
in South Korea visited Taylor High School in Texas
on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, as part of an international exchange program.
After a welcome ceremony and orientation, the students joined classes
with their Taylor High School buddies and shared their school life and culture.
They also expressed their deep gratitude to Korean War veteran Mr. Robert Witt
by presenting a plaque and letters of thanks and showing a thank-you video.
The Consul General and the HKEC Director joined the students and
offered words of encouragement. The Houston Korean Education Center (HKEC)
and the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Houston supported
the event to lift the students’ spirits and help make the exchange meaningful.
We hope this visit gave students from both schools a valuable chance
to understand one another and build friendships.
